Hi, I’m Tina. A travel blogger in my fifties, based in Portsmouth, and absolutely convinced that my best adventures are still ahead of me. I like to write honest reviews and stories from my travels.

I didn’t travel abroad until my thirties. Back then, I was terrified of flying, convinced sharks were circling every beach, and riddled with guilt over leaving my four kids at home with my parents while I flew off to Spain to meet my new in-laws. But that first trip changed everything.

Since then, I haven’t stopped. I have:

  • Climbed Mount Snowdon
  • Feasted in a Viking mead hall.
  • Gotten soaked in a Venetian thunderstorm (and loved every second).
  • Explored Kos, Fuerteventura, Malta, Portugal, and Germany (Never going deeper than my knees in any large body of water)

I travel on a real budget and share every single trip with total honesty. No glossy filters. No manufactured perfection. Just real experiences, practical tips, and what actually worked (and what didn’t) for a woman who started late and never looked back.

This blog is my adventure diary, my travel planning hub, and my invitation to you.

If you’ve ever thought it’s too late to start exploring the world on your own terms—it isn’t.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet!

Pull up a chair. Let’s go.
